About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a night‑shift Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Stepdown Unit at Indian River Hospital. You will provide direct, high‑quality nursing care to a diverse cardiac patient population while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care and administer prescribed medications and treatments.
Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
Carry out physician and nursing orders and coordinate discharge planning.
Educate patients and families about care and recovery.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
At least one year of acute‑care RN experience or equivalent licensed military RN experience.

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred).
NIH Stroke Scale certification (preferred).
