Registered Nurse – Bone Marrow Transplant Clinic (Full-Time)

About the role

The Bone Marrow Transplant Clinic is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care within a collaborative, inclusive team. The RN will lead nursing processes, delegate tasks, and ensure high‑quality outcomes while respecting cultural diversity.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care and assess learning needs of patients and families.
• Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources, serving as a leader on the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, accreditation standards, and Ochsner’s policies.
• Adapt communication and care approaches to respect patient privacy, cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of practice and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment and maintain confidentiality.
• Leadership potential and strong organizational and time‑management skills.
