About the role
The State of Georgia, Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Augusta Campus at East Central Regional Hospital. This full‑time day‑shift position involves providing nursing care to a diverse patient population while maintaining accurate medical records.
Key responsibilities
- Assess client health problems and needs under general supervision.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans.
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled clients.
- Maintain and update medical records.
- Advise clients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Provide case management as needed.
Required profile
- Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
- Current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse or multistate license.
- Or one year of experience at the lower level Registered Nurse 1 (HCP070) or equivalent.
