Registered Nurse – Additional Care Unit

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks a Registered Nurse for the Additional Care/Telemetry Overflow Unit at Indian River Hospital. This night‑shift position provides direct care to cardiac patients and offers opportunities for professional growth within a supportive, technology‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions and update plans of care.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to nursing protocols.
• Educate patients and families, assess discharge needs, and coordinate follow‑up care.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) with current RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least one year of acute care RN experience or equivalent military RN experience.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred).
• NIH Stroke Scale certification (preferred).
