About the role

The University of Miami UHealth at Plantation is seeking a Registered Nurse 2 to join the Radiation Oncology team. This full‑time position involves direct patient care, coordination with physicians, and support of treatment plans in a compassionate environment.

Key responsibilities

Assess assigned patients, document nursing care, and report changes in condition and vital signs.
Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments, and administer medications safely.
Consult with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and evaluate patient care plans.
Provide psychological support, discharge planning, and act as a preceptor for new staff.

Required profile

Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Florida Registered Nurse License.
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.

Required skills

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
