Clinical Business Operations Representative 3 (Plantation)

About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth Primary Care Enterprise seeks a full‑time Clinical Business Operations Representative 3 to support daily clinical operations in Plantation. The incumbent will handle patient intake, manage calls, and ensure accurate documentation of patient records.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain and verify patient demographic, insurance, and referral information.
• Review clinical records for completeness, including authorizations and signatures.
• Answer multiple department phones, triage calls, direct inquiries, and document messages.
• Greet visitors, handle inquiries, and route them to appropriate staff.
• Provide coverage for co‑workers and assist with workflow improvements.
• Process Durable Medical Equipment requests, school physical forms, vaccine records, and other department‑specific paperwork.
• Schedule peer‑to‑peer providers, confirm appointments, and manage rescheduling.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of relevant administrative or clinical support experience.
• Strong data‑entry accuracy and ability to organize and analyze information.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work evenings, nights, and weekends as needed.
• Commitment to University core values and confidentiality standards.

Required skills

• Data entry with minimal errors.
• Proficiency using the NICE call‑management system.
• Experience with UChart Media Manager for scanning and uploading records.
