Registered Nurse 2 – Full-Time Position

About the role

The Registered Nurse 2 provides patient‑family centered care at Lennar Multi‑Specialty Clinics in Coral Gables. This full‑time position focuses on delivering culturally competent, evidence‑based nursing services while supervising allied health staff.

Key responsibilities

• Assess assigned patients, document nursing care, and modify treatment plans based on patient response and physician orders.
• Review and report diagnostic test results to evaluate patient condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments, considering age and cultural factors.
• Administer medications and perform patient tests safely, maintaining accurate records per regulatory standards.
• Communicate care plans to patients, families, and team members while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
• Assist with discharge planning using available resources.
• Prioritize assignments, adapt to changing demands, and operate medical equipment safely.
• Serve as a preceptor for new staff, providing feedback and guidance.
• Adhere to university and unit policies, safeguarding assets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Valid State of Florida RN license.
