Registered EEG Technologist III - Night Shift

About the role

AdventHealth Littleton is hiring a Registered EEG Technologist III for a full-time night shift position. The role reviews patients' history, runs EEG procedures and reports results to the attending physician.

Key responsibilities

• Review the patient's history and educate the patient about the procedure
• Monitor and document the patient's condition, report and respond to adverse reactions
• Identify and correct artifacts during EEG procedures
• Edit and forward results to the attending physician for analysis and interpretation
• Score, graph, analyze, document and report results of diagnostic procedures
• Take part in departmental and organizational programs and staff development
• Help train Tech I, Tech II and students

Required profile

• High school graduate or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in the neurodiagnostic field, including 2 years in the specialty modality of practice
• Registered Electroencephalography Technician (REEGT)
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification
• Certification for Long Term Monitoring (CLTM) preferred; Registered Evoked Potentials Technologist (REPT) preferred
