Registered Dietician – Home Health (Per Diem)

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an energetic Registered Dietician for a per‑diem position to provide nutrition services to clients in their homes across Charleston, SC. You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering skilled nursing and rehabilitative care, helping patients stay safely at home.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct home visits within assigned geographic territories.
• Develop and deliver dietetic education to staff, clients, and caregivers.
• Assess, create, and counsel on medical nutrition therapy for prevention and disease management.
• Translate scientific findings into practical guidance for clients and families.
• Document clinical treatment accurately using electronic medical records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in food and nutrition from an accredited institution.
• Current SC license as a Registered Dietitian.
• Minimum two years recent experience as a Registered Dietician in a health‑care setting.
• Home health experience preferred but not required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Solid computer skills for documentation and communication.
