Certified Nursing Assistant – Home Health

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a full‑time Certified Nursing Assistant to provide home health visits for 5‑6 patients daily in the Charleston, SC area. The CNA will join a multidisciplinary team delivering rehabilitative and skilled nursing care in clients' homes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
• Support range of motion exercises, transfers, and use of mechanical lifting devices.
• Monitor vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration) and assist with oral feeding.
• Provide medication assistance and help with ambulation.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of work experience as a CNA.
• Active registration on the South Carolina Nurse Aide Registry in good standing.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination and complete a criminal background check.
• Meet all state requirements and possess reliable transportation.
