Registered Dental Hygienist

About the role

The Good Dentist is looking for an enthusiastic, positive Registered Dental Hygienist to join its practice in Hartland. The practice cares about both patients and its team, and offers a warm, team-centered environment that values collaboration and compassionate care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and periodontal maintenance
• Complete periodontal charting, oral cancer screenings and medical history reviews
• Take and evaluate radiographs and intraoral photos
• Apply fluoride varnish and sealants, and administer local anesthesia where permitted by state law
• Educate patients on home care, nutrition and treatment recommendations
• Document care accurately in the practice management system
• Partner with the dentist on treatment planning and help patients understand recommended care
• Follow all infection control and OSHA standards
