Registered Behavior Technician – Community Based

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking compassionate Registered Behavior Technicians to work one‑on‑one with children and young adults diagnosed with autism. The role involves delivering ABA‑based therapy in clinic, home, and community settings on a part‑time schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Implement skill‑acquisition and behavior‑reduction procedures according to each client’s treatment plan.
• Collect and document behavior data, progress notes, and intervene as directed by the Behavioral Services Manager.
• Establish supportive therapeutic relationships with clients and families, respecting their values and beliefs.
• Provide transportation for activities when required and monitor client health status.

Required profile

• One year of experience working with children with developmental or intellectual disabilities (preferred).
• Current CPR/BLS certification (AHA) or willingness to obtain.
• Interest in obtaining or holding a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential.

Required skills

• Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.
• CPR/BLS certification.
