Behavioral Technician (RBT) Academy – School Based

About the role

Join BAYADA’s RBT Academy and become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a few weeks. You will work in school‑based settings on Oahu, supporting students with Autism and other developmental disabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Implement behavior therapy techniques and follow individualized service plans in the classroom.
• Collect and document behavior data, track progress toward goals, and provide skill‑building instruction.
• Collaborate with teachers, school teams, and families to support student independence and interpersonal development.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or 48 college credits including Math 100 and English 100, or High School Diploma/GED with ParaPro Praxis assessment (assistance available).
• No prior experience required; must complete RBT Academy and pass the RBT exam.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
• Ability to collect and record behavioral data accurately.
