Registered Behavior Technician – Autism Support

About the role

Join BAYADA Home Health Care as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support children and young adults with autism in clinic, home, and community settings. You will work 1:1 with clients, following established ABA treatment plans to help them acquire new skills and reduce challenging behaviors.

Key responsibilities

• Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction procedures as directed by the Behavioral Services Manager and Behavior Specialist.
• Collect and document behavior data, track progress, and review reports to inform program improvements.
• Provide habilitation, training, and community-based support to help clients achieve identified goals.
• Monitor health status, report changes, and ensure client safety during sessions.

Required profile

• One year experience working with children with developmental or intellectual disabilities (preferred).
• Current CPR/BLS certification (AHA).
• Willingness to obtain or maintain the RBT credential required for ABA services in Hawaii.
