Registered Behavior Technician Academy – West Oahu

About the role

Join BAYADA’s RBT Academy in West Oahu and become a Certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in just a few weeks. You will work in school‑based settings supporting students with Autism and other developmental disabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Implement behavior therapy techniques and support students in the classroom according to individualized service plans.
• Collect and document behavior data, track progress toward goals, and maintain detailed intervention records.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams to foster independence and functional skill development.

Required profile

• At least 18 years of age.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, OR 48 college credits including Math 100 and English 100, OR High School Diploma/GED with a passing ParaPro Praxis assessment (BAYADA assistance available).
• No prior experience required; must complete the RBT Academy and pass the RBT exam.

Required skills

• Knowledge of evidence‑based practices in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Ability to follow structured observation and hands‑on training protocols.
