Registered Behavior Technician Academy – School Based

About the role

Join BAYADA’s RBT Academy and become a Certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a few weeks, working in a school‑based setting on Oahu with children who have Autism and other developmental disabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Work directly with students in the classroom following established service plans.
• Implement behavior therapy techniques, collect data, and document progress.
• Collaborate with teachers and school teams to support student independence and skill development.

Required profile

• At least 18 years of age.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or 48 college credits including Math 100 and English 100, or High School Diploma/GED with ParaPro Praxis assessment (assistance available).
• No prior experience required; must complete the RBT Academy and pass the RBT exam.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
• Ability to follow structured observation and training protocols.
