Regional/Division Manager

About the role

Marshall + Sterling is seeking a Regional/Division Manager to lead its St Thomas office in the US Virgin Islands. This senior leader will develop teams, manage key client relationships, and drive growth across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, retain, mentor, and support high‑performing Account Managers and Supervisors.
• Oversee major client accounts, develop retention strategies, and identify growth opportunities.
• Implement account‑management tools such as Service Timelines and Book Segmentation.
• Create and execute regional business strategies for profitability and staffing.
• Monitor performance metrics, improve processes, and ensure high service levels.
• Promote best practices, technology adoption, and a strong employee‑owner culture.

Required profile

• College degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• Active P+C insurance license preferred; appropriate state insurance licenses.
• 5+ years of insurance or business experience, including 1‑3 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products, brokerage practices, and strategic decision‑making.
• Valid driver’s license.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email.
• Experience with Vertafore (preferred).
