Regional Vice President – Upper Midwest

About the role

The organization is expanding its industrial construction and lifecycle solutions business and needs a senior leader to build and run the Upper Midwest region from the ground up. Based in Cedar Rapids, IA, the Regional Vice President will oversee operations across Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota, targeting $500 million to $1 billion in annual revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Establish a predictable operating system covering safety, quality, profitability, and cash management.
• Recruit and develop Area Managers who own geography‑based P&L and align with Service Line Managers.
• Define and execute a service‑line diversification roadmap, adding mechanical, structural, soft‑crafts, underground, coatings, civil, and instrumentation capabilities.
• Drive customer acquisition and market expansion through relationship‑based business development.
• Implement safety culture metrics (TRIR, EMR, leading indicators) and ensure consistent governance across the region.

• Proven senior leadership experience in industrial construction or related sectors.
• Strong commercial credibility with established industry relationships.
• Track record of building high‑performing teams and delivering growth targets.
• Ability to operate with urgency and influence senior leadership.
