Regional Sales Director - AI/ML, Data Engineering & Cloud

About the role

A Regional Sales Director is sought to drive enterprise sales and revenue growth across Generative AI, AI/ML, Data Engineering, Analytics and cloud transformation services. The role is based in Cupertino or San Diego, California, on a hybrid basis, and requires 7 to 10 years of experience. Candidates who have worked for a company where Apple is the end client are preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Generate qualified leads, acquire new enterprise clients and expand existing accounts.
• Sell AI/ML, Generative AI, Data Engineering, Analytics and cloud transformation solutions.
• Collaborate with technical, marketing and delivery teams to present technical solutions and meet client needs.
• Manage sales pipelines, forecasts and reporting using Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
• Represent the company at industry events and client meetings, travelling as required.

Required profile

• 7-10 years of experience in enterprise sales or business development, preferably in technology services.
• Experience selling AI/ML, Generative AI, Data Engineering, Analytics or cloud solutions.
• Proven ability to generate leads, negotiate contracts and close large enterprise deals.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field preferred.

Required skills

• CRM tools; Salesforce knowledge preferred.
• Strong client relationship management, consultative selling and negotiation skills.
• Ability to explain technical solutions to business and technical stakeholders.
