Regional Program Manager, Field Sales

About the role

Barclays Marketing is looking for a Regional Program Manager, Field Sales to join its retail credit card programme. The role works with region, district and store-level management to make retail credit card partnerships succeed, driving account acquisitions and usage in partner stores across the territory. Candidates must be based in California, and the employer is open to candidates working from home.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing strategies for face-to-face channels, including bank branches, partner physical locations and other physical locations, defining target audiences and campaign objectives.
• Manage marketing campaigns across these channels, including training and promotional materials, coordination with partners and their employees, and consistent messaging across customer touchpoints.
• Analyse campaign performance and prepare regular reports on effectiveness.
• Improve the customer experience by streamlining processes and optimising the physical environment.
• Manage the performance marketing budget, monitor campaign costs, negotiate vendor contracts and optimise spending.
• Evaluate market research, including voice of the customer and partner employees, and run competitive analysis.

Required profile

• Experience in general relationship, business development, marketing or sales.
• Retail industry experience with a general understanding of credit products.
• Proven ability to influence external partners as well as internal colleagues.
• Highly valued: financial services retail support function or retail store/district/region management experience.

Required skills

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to give clear insights, effective coaching and actionable feedback to partners and internal contacts.
• Leadership expectations: advise decision makers, lead a team, set objectives, coach employees and mitigate risk.

The advertised salary range is $110,000 to $150,000 base, and the contract is permanent.
