Regional Field Recruiter (Contract) – Southeast US

About the role

NearU Services is seeking a high‑energy Regional (Field) Recruiter to lead full‑cycle hiring for its branch teams across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. You will partner closely with General Managers, Service Managers, and HR leaders to attract top talent in HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing trades while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage 50–55 active requisitions across multiple branch locations.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to develop and execute hiring strategies.
• Lead intake meetings to define role expectations and ideal candidate profiles.
• Source active and passive candidates via job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and recruiting platforms.
• Conduct resume reviews, phone screens, behavioral interviews, and coordinate interview schedules.
• Maintain accurate ATS updates, draft job descriptions, and ensure compliance documentation.
• Track recruiting metrics, pipeline activity, and weekly hiring progress.
• Support onboarding by extending offers and partnering with branch leadership.

Required profile

• 3+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, preferably in high‑volume environments.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and influence hiring decisions.
• Tech‑savvy, organized, and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for delivering a smooth candidate experience.

Required skills

• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms.
