Paylocity Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Paylocity Consultant to help a client configure, optimize, and continuously improve their Paylocity environment. The consultant will act as a functional expert across payroll, benefits, time‑keeping, recruiting, onboarding, and performance management, delivering training and best‑practice guidance to end users.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, optimize, and support the full Paylocity platform based on client business requirements.
• Provide functional expertise across Payroll, Benefits, Time & Attendance, Recruiting, Onboarding, and Performance Management modules.
• Partner with client stakeholders to assess current processes, identify system gaps, and recommend effective Paylocity solutions.
• Review existing Paylocity configurations, implement enhancements, and improve system efficiency, accuracy, and usability.
• Troubleshoot system issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and propose corrective actions.
• Support system testing, validation, and quality‑assurance activities for configuration changes.
• Deliver end‑user training, knowledge transfer, and best‑practice recommendations to boost system adoption.
• Identify opportunities to streamline HR and payroll processes, reduce manual work, and maximize Paylocity functionality.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience configuring, optimizing, and supporting the Paylocity platform.
• Strong functional knowledge of Payroll, Benefits, Time & Attendance, Recruiting, Onboarding, and Performance Management.
• Proven ability to assess existing Paylocity environments and recommend system and process improvements.
• Experience troubleshooting system issues and supporting configuration, testing, and optimization initiatives.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and client‑facing consulting skills.
