Regional Executive Intern

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland is seeking a Regional Executive Intern to support its External Engagement department. This 10‑ to 12‑week internship offers hands‑on experience working with Regional Executives and the Government Relations team on stakeholder management and policy analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Map stakeholder networks across the Bank’s district and enter contact data into Salesforce.
• Take meeting notes for Regional Executives and assist in analysis of those discussions.
• Help recruit and manage partners for the Business Outlook and Trends Survey (BOTS).
• Summarize information on elected officials and analyze relevant legislation.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• At least one semester remaining before graduation.
• U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or green‑card holder.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Access (or similar data‑access tools).
• Experience using Salesforce or other CRM systems.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities.
