Regional Engagement Officer - Idaho

About the role

The Regional Engagement Officer will serve Idaho, connecting with businesses and community leaders to provide real‑time economic insights for the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. This fully remote position is based in the Boise area and involves outreach, event hosting, and relationship building across the 12th District.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement local business outreach and engagement plans in collaboration with the Regional Executive.
• Represent the Fed in the region, building and sustaining relationships with business and banking leaders.
• Identify engagement opportunities by convening forums, special events, and roundtables.
• Manage relationships with senior executives of financial institutions and support the branch Board of Directors.
• Participate in key business associations and provide backup support to the Salt Lake City Branch as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of professional experience in external outreach or community engagement.
• Residency in the Boise, Idaho area and ability to work 100% remotely.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% within the region.
• Strong written, speaking, and presentation skills, especially with C‑suite audiences.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesforce (preferred).

• Base salary range $127,900 – $204,100 per year.
