Regional Director Supply Chain – Materials Management Logistics

About the role

The Regional Director of Supply Chain leads supply‑chain functions for all facilities in the Tyler region, reporting to the System Director of Operations and Logistics and working closely with the Regional CFO. This senior position shapes strategy, drives process improvement, and ensures compliance across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Support the System Director in defining regional supply‑chain strategy and improvement initiatives.
• Lead facility‑based supply‑chain teams to implement system‑wide projects and track productivity.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, item issues, returns, transfers, and adjustments within the Infor ERP system.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Joint Commission, OIG Vendor Compliance, and other regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate fiscal‑year end inventories and report results to finance and logistics leadership.
• Provide interim coverage for the Materials Management Director during absences.
• Champion communication between the logistics team and facilities to resolve customer concerns promptly.
• Manage contract launch packets to meet the 60‑day conversion requirement.

Required profile

• Demonstrated leadership experience in supply‑chain or logistics, preferably within a healthcare environment.
• Ability to collaborate with finance leaders and senior executives.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance (HIPAA, Joint Commission, OIG).
• Proven track record of driving process improvement and managing large, multi‑site operations.
