Regional Director Supply Chain – Materials Management Logistics

About the role

The Regional Director of Supply Chain leads supply chain functions across an entire region for CHRISTUS Health. Reporting to the System Director of Operations and Logistics and working closely with the Regional CFO, this role drives process improvement, compliance, and performance across all facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Support the System Director in setting strategic direction for regional supply chain operations.
• Lead facility‑based supply chain teams to implement regional and system‑wide improvement initiatives.
• Monitor staff productivity and operational performance at each facility.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Joint Commission, OIG Vendor Compliance, Vendor Integrity, recalls, and other regulatory requirements.
• Oversee accurate, timely inventory transactions (issues, returns, transfers, adjustments) within the Infor system.
• Coordinate fiscal year‑end inventories and report final numbers to finance and system leadership.
• Provide interim support for the Materials Management Director during absences.
• Champion communication between the supply chain logistics team and facilities to resolve customer concerns.
• Manage contract launch packets to meet the 60‑day requirement and review monthly/weekly performance reports.

Required profile

• Demonstrated leadership competency (Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders) as defined by OneCHRISTUS.
• Experience collaborating with finance leaders, including CFOs, to align supply chain operations with financial goals.
• Ability to travel onsite for high‑visibility visits and facility oversight.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Infor supply chain management system.
