About the role
The Regional Director – Supply Chain will lead supply‑chain operations across multiple healthcare facilities in the Tyler region. Reporting to the System Director of Operations and Logistics, this senior leader will partner with finance and senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives and ensure operational excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Shape and execute the regional supply‑chain strategy in partnership with senior leadership.
- Guide facility‑level supply‑chain teams to adopt system‑wide initiatives and best practices.
- Monitor productivity, performance metrics, and workflow improvements across all sites.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, vendor policies, and data‑protection standards.
- Manage inventory processes—including tracking, adjustments, returns, transfers, and ERP accuracy.
- Conduct regular on‑site visits to maintain visibility and support teams.
- Coordinate year‑end inventory activities and validate reporting with finance.
- Provide interim leadership during facility‑level supply‑chain head absences.
- Optimize inventory strategies such as fill rates, stock levels, and PAR management.
- Act as liaison between supply‑chain teams and facility stakeholders to resolve concerns.
- Oversee contract implementation timelines and ensure organizational compliance.
- Review operational and financial reports, identify trends, and initiate corrective actions.
- Drive continuous‑improvement projects focused on cost, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Mentor and develop team members to strengthen capability.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
- 10‑12+ years of supply‑chain management experience, preferably in a multi‑facility healthcare environment.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, reimbursement models, and healthcare operations.
- Hands‑on experience with ERP systems, preferably Infor.
- Proven track record leading large‑scale initiatives from planning through execution.
- In‑depth knowledge of medical supplies, equipment, and hospital supply‑chain operations.
