Regional Associate, Growth & Competition (Southeast & Gulf)
Maleda Tech
Job description
About the role
A new outreach team is looking for a Regional Associate to support property hosts across the Southeast and Gulf region. The role uses data to help hosts understand how their listings and pricing compare across booking platforms, sharing education, tips and insights. It is a phone-heavy, relationship-driven mix of business development and junior account management, suited to someone early in their career who enjoys outbound outreach.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze listing optimization opportunities and performance trends across a portfolio of high-potential host accounts and act on data-driven opportunities
- Make about 10-20 outbound calls per day, reaching hosts by video meetings and email and following up consistently
- Present data clearly with charts and approved tools and explain the platform's value to hosts
- Help hosts understand pricing comparisons across booking platforms and address common questions and objections
- Maintain a baseline understanding of technical integrations with software partners
- Document conversations, classifications and follow-ups in Salesforce, Gong and team trackers
- Track progress toward quarterly goals, adjust the approach weekly, and share learnings and best practices with the team
- Follow host communication guidelines: educate and inform, give objective, data-driven insights, and let hosts make their own pricing and business decisions
Required profile
- Comfort on the phone and on video, with quick rapport-building with people you have never met
- Comfort with outbound outreach and a high daily call volume
- Organized and self-directed, able to manage a large portfolio and a daily call plan
- Curious about data: can read a dashboard, spot a pattern and explain it simply
- Persistent and resilient, able to follow up many times respectfully and adapt to different conversations
- Good judgment and integrity within compliance guidelines
- Preferred: fluency in Spanish, 1-2 years of inside sales, business development, account management or host/partner success experience, customer service, sales or hospitality experience (internships count), and a bachelor's degree completed or expected within 6 months
Required skills
- CRM tools such as Salesforce
- Call-intelligence tools such as Gong
- Outreach tools such as Mixmax
- Spreadsheets and dashboards (Google Sheets, Tableau)
What we offer
- Structured ramp-up with guided training and competitive intelligence sessions
- Tool walkthroughs and shadowing on host calls during the first weeks
- Weekly performance data and regular coaching
- Pay of $20-$23 per hour plus medical, dental, vision and 401(k) benefits
- Remote work within the U.S., Eastern or Central time zone preferred, full-time 40 hours per week
- Start date mid-November 2026, 6-month duration, W-2 contract; must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
