About the role

We are seeking a Regional Account Manager to lead our Home Care and I&I business within BASF’s Care Chemicals division in the United States. The role focuses on developing and maintaining relationships with key customers, driving sales growth, and delivering innovative solutions across the home care, industrial and institutional markets.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic growth plans for assigned regional accounts.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new product sales and development projects.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts to support customer projects.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams (product management, operations, supply chain, controlling, product development) to ensure seamless execution.
  • Travel up to 40 % of the time to meet customers and support projects.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, business or a related field.
  • Approximately 5 years of experience in sales, marketing or business management with diverse customer relationships.
  • Proven ability to build multi‑level relationships and influence decision‑makers.
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to align solutions with customer needs.
