Referral Trainer

About the role

Ardent Health is seeking a remote, full‑time Referral Trainer to deliver high‑quality technical and soft‑skill training to its scheduling team. You will play a key part in ensuring a world‑class patient experience by onboarding new staff and continuously improving curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and facilitate EPIC system training and soft‑skill sessions for adult learners.
• Provide a positive onboarding, training, and transition experience to retain talent.
• Collaborate with Operations and Support departments to schedule recurring education for Schedulers.
• Apply adult‑learning principles to refine curriculum and create value‑add continuing education.
• Produce facilitator‑led and web‑based training materials that support optimal patient experiences.
• Contribute to a positive culture by promoting organizational learning within the contact center.

Required profile

• Associate degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of healthcare work experience, including hospital patient accounting and clinical software use.
• Epic training certification.
• Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and healthcare financial software.
