Daycare Teacher – After‑School Enrichment

About the role
Mentoring Alliance After School is seeking a ministry‑focused Daycare Teacher to join its after‑school team. In this part‑time role you will lead elementary‑aged children in enrichment activities, fostering their development and spiritual growth.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age‑appropriate enrichment activities for elementary students.
- Provide a safe, caring environment during the 2 pm‑6 pm shift, Monday‑Friday.
- Model Christian values and serve as a positive role model for children.
- Maintain attendance records and communicate daily observations to program staff.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and child‑care policies, including CPR/First Aid readiness.
Required profile
- Minimum age of 17 years.
- High School Diploma or GED; post‑secondary training preferred.
- Pass a mandatory background and sex‑offender check.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license or ID.
Required skills
- CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
