Recruiting Operations Specialist

About the role

Handshake is seeking a Recruiting Operations Specialist to help shape the future of its recruiting function. You will work at the intersection of recruiting operations and candidate experience, driving automation, data integrity, and scalable processes.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule interviews quickly to deliver a best‑in‑class candidate experience.
• Configure, train on, and document existing recruiting technologies.
• Identify and implement improvements in scheduling and recruiter workflows.
• Maintain recruiting data integrity through routine audits, trend analysis, and dashboard creation.
• Build and maintain reports and dashboards tracking key recruiting metrics.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for recruitment systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to enhance integrations and system functionality.
• Communicate professionally with candidates, hiring managers, interviewers, recruiters, and other teams.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in recruitment coordination or recruiting operations in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience with an applicant tracking system (ATS) such as Ashby or Workday.
• Proficiency in Google Suite (Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides).
• Strong problem‑solving mindset.
