Technical Sourcer

About the role

We are seeking a forward‑thinking Founding Technical Sourcer to build and scale our sourcing function from the ground up. As the first in this seat, you will design the sourcing strategy, set up AI infrastructure, define success metrics, and create the blueprint for attracting top technical talent.

Key responsibilities

• Define vision, OKRs, and operational model for a sourcing function, implementing and optimizing the tech stack for scalable candidate generation.
• Deploy, configure, and manage AI sourcing agents to automate discovery, top‑of‑funnel messaging, multi‑touch engagement, and lead‑nurturing workflows.
• Design and execute targeted tech events, meetups, and campaigns to position the team as an employer of choice and generate a sustained passive inbound pipeline.
• Lead technical intake sessions with engineering leaders, mastering complex tech stacks, niche roles, and shifting priorities while operating your own funnel.
• Craft hyper‑personalized outreach strategies across platforms, optimizing conversion metrics at every stage of the funnel.

Required profile

• 5+ years of technical sourcing experience in high‑growth environments (Series D+ startups or hyper‑scale companies) with quantifiable talent impact.
• Proven 0‑to‑1 sourcing experience building strategies from scratch or leading a sourcing function with defined metrics.
• Hands‑on AI and technical fluency implementing AI‑powered sourcing tools, custom automation, and generative AI messaging systems.
• High learning velocity to rapidly digest complex technical concepts during hiring manager intakes.
• Track record of brand and event execution to build passive inbound talent pipelines.
• Strong analytical skills to measure funnel conversions, iterate on outreach experiments, and report outcomes to leadership.
