Recruiter – High‑Volume Hiring & Staffing Coordination

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Recruiter to lead high‑volume hiring and workforce coordination for a mission‑driven organization operating across multiple New York locations. The role blends full‑cycle talent acquisition with staffing logistics, ensuring the right talent is in place to support daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for a variety of operational roles, handling high‑volume hiring cycles.
• Source candidates via job boards, community partnerships, and workforce programs, building robust talent pipelines.
• Conduct screenings, initial interviews, and coordinate pre‑employment steps such as background checks.
• Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system and partner with hiring managers to meet staffing needs.
• Support workforce scheduling across multiple sites, fill open shifts, and address coverage gaps.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align staffing plans with operational demands and assist with onboarding and training of new hires.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of recruiting experience, preferably in high‑volume or operational hiring environments.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Strong organizational, multitasking and communication abilities.
• Ability to work onsite in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting.
