Records and Digital Engagement Specialist

About the role

The Records and Digital Engagement Specialist supports the Office of the Registrar by managing university records, creating graphic designs for marketing campaigns, and maintaining departmental web and social media presence.

Key responsibilities

• Process student record changes, answer multi‑line phones, and ensure compliance with FERPA and academic regulations.
• Serve as liaison for Marketing and Communications, promoting stories via approved social media and email channels.
• Design and update Registrar web pages, create graphics for campaigns, and manage departmental social‑media accounts.
• Assist with registration, transcripts, enrollment certifications, and end‑of‑term processes.
• Support commencement and other Registrar events, and assist the Associate Registrar with special projects.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in a related field (or high school diploma/GED with five years of experience).
• Three years of related experience in records, marketing, or digital engagement.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Self‑motivated with strong attention to detail and ability to work occasional evenings or weekends.

Required skills

• Adobe Suite or Canva for graphic design.
• Working knowledge of Banner Student Information System.
• Familiarity with Cascade content management.
• Experience with Mongoose Cadence engagement platform.
