Radiologist Assistant – Cleveland Clinic Main Campus

About the role

The Radiology Assistant works under physician supervision to provide primary healthcare services in medical imaging. This full‑time position supports a wide range of diagnostic and interventional procedures at Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate daily procedure schedules with the supervising physician and determine skill utilization.
• Perform fluoroscopic, ultrasound‑guided, and CT‑guided biopsies, arthrograms, myelograms, vascular access procedures, and other interventional radiology services.
• Review medical images and preliminary reports with the physician and prepare technical reports.
• Administer intravenous medication and contrast media under physician supervision and document patient care.

Required profile

• Graduate of an ARRT‑recognized program and certified Radiology Assistant (R.R.A., RT(R)).
• Current state radiologic license and Ohio Radiologist Assistant license.
• Minimum three years of experience as a Registered Radiology Technologist.
• Active ACLS certification and 50 continuing education credits every two years.

Required skills

• Fluoroscopic and CT‑guided procedural techniques.
• Ultrasound‑guided biopsy and drainage.
• Vascular access procedures including venograms, arteriograms, and IVC filter placement.
• Interpretation of imaging studies and preparation of technical reports.
