Key responsibilities

• Implement prescribed radiation treatments and monitor patient response.
• Collaborate with physicians and dosimetrists to develop and deliver individualized treatment plans.
• Position patients accurately, set technical parameters, and operate linear accelerator equipment.
• Document patient conditions, report adverse reactions, and provide education per department protocols.

Required profile

• Graduate of a CAHEA‑approved School of Radiation Therapy or eligible for ARRT registration.
• Current state licensure and ARRT Registered Radiation Therapist certification in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to perform physical duties, including lifting up to 35 lb and standing for extended periods.

Required skills

• Operation of linear accelerator equipment.
• Experience with External Radiation Therapy, IMRT, IGRT, and CT Simulation.
• Proficiency with radiation oncology electronic medical records.
• Knowledge of safety procedures for x‑ray generating equipment.
