Radar Sensing AI Research Intern

About the role

The Radar Sensing AI Research Intern will join Bosch Research and Technology Center in Pittsburgh to advance intelligent multi‑modal sensing at the intersection of deep learning and signal processing. This role focuses on developing cutting‑edge radar AI solutions for applications ranging from physical security to connected vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Develop state‑of‑the‑art Radar AI solutions combining classical signal processing with machine/deep learning approaches.
• Research and create memory‑efficient radar models, radar representation learning, and novel interior‑sensing tasks.
• Collaborate with fellow researchers to integrate radar AI modules into prototype systems.
• Document and publish research findings in high‑quality papers or patent submissions.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Broad knowledge of machine‑learning and deep‑learning algorithms and state‑of‑the‑art methods.
• Strong academic record with publications in top machine‑learning or signal‑processing venues (preferred).
• Experience with high‑performance computing platforms and job managers such as Slurm or IBM LSF (preferred).
