Rack & Tool Maker (Welder/Fabricator) – Experienced

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Rack & Tool Maker who also excels as a Welder/Fabricator to design, build, modify, and repair custom tooling that keeps our manufacturing lines running smoothly. The role supports production of parts for medical, aerospace, defense, and industrial markets.

Key responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble custom racks, fixtures, jigs, and tooling according to blueprints and work orders.
• Perform welding, cutting, grinding, drilling, and fitting operations using appropriate equipment.
• Repair, modify, and improve existing equipment to enhance productivity and quality.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Department to support equipment uptime.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to all safety protocols.

Required profile

• Proven experience in custom fabrication and tool making.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Dependable attendance and willingness to work scheduled shifts.
• Comfortable working in a noisy, dusty, and hot manufacturing setting.
• Commitment to long‑term employment and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• AWS (American Welding Society) certification.
• Welding (MIG, TIG, stick) and metal fabrication.
• Blueprint reading and technical drawing interpretation.
• Cutting, grinding, drilling, and fitting of metal components.
