Metal Plater / Line Operator – 2nd Shift

About the role

We are seeking a Metal Plater / Line Operator for our 2nd‑shift team in Minneapolis. You will operate and monitor electroplating lines that apply protective and functional coatings to parts for medical, aerospace, defense and other critical industries. The role includes on‑the‑job training and the chance to learn a skilled trade.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plating lines during the 3 PM‑1 AM shift (Mon‑Thu).
• Process parts according to detailed work instructions while maintaining strict quality, safety and production standards.
• Perform routine equipment checks, record data, and report any issues.
• Follow established procedures for handling chemicals and hazardous materials.
• Participate in overtime as needed to meet production goals.

Required profile

• Enjoy hands‑on work and staying busy throughout the day.
• Can follow detailed written instructions and established procedures.
• Dependable attendance; production relies on punctuality.
• Pride in producing quality work and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment, chemicals, heat, humidity, dust, noise and chemicals.
• Willing to learn new skills through hands‑on and classroom‑style training.
• Accept personal mobile device restrictions during work hours.
• Available for an in‑person interview in Minnesota and willing to relocate if currently out of state.
