Quality Inspector

About the role

The Quality Inspector ensures that purchased parts, materials, components, and equipment meet required specifications. You will work on the shop floor, using precision measuring tools and technical drawings to verify product quality and support continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Perform inspections of purchased parts, materials, components, and equipment using precision measuring tools and gauges.
• Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and sketches to verify compliance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve quality issues and populate standard reports.
• Conduct intermediate problem‑solving to identify root causes and propose corrective actions.
• Execute basic audits of inspection methods, sequences, and procedures.
• Document test results, quality problems, and inspection findings.

Required profile

• Analytical mindset with ability to apply scientific methods to quality tasks.
• Understanding of how the inspection team integrates with other functions.
• No supervisory responsibilities required.
• Capability to recognize and solve typical problems without supervision.
• Impact on the quality of own work and overall product quality.
• Effective communication skills for information exchange.
