Process Support Engineer III

About the role

The Process Support Engineer (PSE) guides semiconductor equipment through its full lifecycle, from concept to qualification, delivering on‑site installations, diagnostics, and complex system repairs. You will collaborate with customers and R&D teams to develop advanced processes and conduct hypothesis experiments.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between the customer and Business Unit, ensuring clear issue understanding and solution delivery.
• Optimize tool performance to meet customer process and integration requirements.
• Check and approve operational quality of system equipment and instruct customers on operation and maintenance.
• Provide on‑site installation, diagnosis, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex semiconductor equipment.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in Semiconductor Capital Equipment or a comparable high‑tech field.
• 3+ years experience in Applications or Process Engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD).
• Knowledge of Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD).
• Knowledge of Plasma Reactive Ion Etch (RIE).
• Knowledge of Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD).
• Knowledge of Anneal and Implant processes.
• Design of Experiments (DOE) methodology.
• Statistical data analysis and reporting.
