About the role

The State of Georgia’s Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities is seeking a board‑certified Psychiatrist to provide comprehensive medical services to the state’s residents. This full‑time, day‑shift position is based in Atlanta and offers the opportunity to impact the mental health of over 10 million Georgians.

Key responsibilities

• Examine patients and diagnose mental health conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including pharmacotherapy.
• Prescribe and monitor medications.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in psychiatry.
