Provider Data Service Specialist

About the role

CVS Health is looking for a detail-oriented Provider Data Service Specialist to join its operations team in a fully remote position in the United States. The role keeps data integrity high across healthcare provider records, supports complex database transactions and ensures precision for internal systems and member directories.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, update and audit provider demographic, network and contractual records across multiple databases.
• Validate system enhancements and ensure data accuracy to support seamless claims processing.
• Investigate data anomalies, run root cause analyses and escalate issues for quick resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to onboard new networks and manage complex database transactions.
• Recommend workflow improvements to strengthen data governance and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a data administration or healthcare support role.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience managing and updating information across multiple database platforms.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and full MS Office suite proficiency.
• Familiarity with EPDB systems.
• Strong analytical abilities.
