Pro‑Shop Lead

About the role

The Pro‑Shop Lead at Crossing Creeks Country Club is responsible for delivering top‑notch customer service, managing tee‑time scheduling, and overseeing daily shop operations. Reporting to the Pro‑Shop Manager, this role ensures a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining inventory, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Greet members and guests, answer questions, and recommend merchandise, food, and beverage items.
• Set tee times, check‑in members, issue starter tickets, and manage cart rentals.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions, balance the register, and process membership charges.
• Restock merchandise, maintain the shop’s cleanliness, and ensure all liability waivers and age verifications are completed.
• Organize the Pro‑Shop schedule, set up lessons, evaluations, and tournament opportunities.
• Lead and supervise Pro‑Shop Assistants, fostering teamwork and effective communication with other departments.

Required profile

• Positive attitude with a passion for the club’s culture and excellent customer‑service experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, make sound judgments, and adapt to schedule changes.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lb, and work in varied weather conditions.

Required skills

• Computer literacy and proficiency with POS systems.
• Operation of golf simulators and range‑ball dispensers.
• TABC/Food Handling license and compliance with alcohol service regulations.
