Proposal Process Manager

About the role

Moog’s Space Division is seeking a Proposal Process Manager to lead the end‑to‑end response to customer RFIs and RFPs. Based onsite in Buffalo, NY, you will ensure high‑quality, compliant proposals are delivered on time, supporting the division’s growth and defense mission.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full proposal lifecycle from intake, kickoff, writing, reviews, production, submission, to post‑submission debriefs.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams—including Business Development, Engineering, Contracts, Program Management, Cost & Pricing, and Operations—to generate winning proposals.
• Create and maintain proposal schedules, assign tasks, track milestones, and ensure on‑time delivery.
• Facilitate legal, contract, and compliance reviews and maintain proposal archives.
• Promote customer intimacy and keep CRM data accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Build and curate a proposal content library, standard templates, boilerplate language, and past‑performance references.
• Implement and manage proposal automation, content management, version control, and submission tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business.
• Minimum five years of experience in proposal process management or program management.
• Proven ability to influence cross‑functional teams without direct authority.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM tools for opportunity tracking.
• Proficiency in proposal automation tools.
• Knowledge of content management and version control systems.
• Familiarity with submission platforms.
