Proposal Marketing Associate, Land Development & Public Works (West Coast)

About the role

Atwell, LLC, a consulting, engineering and construction firm serving real estate, land development and energy markets, is hiring a Proposal Marketing Associate for its Marketing team. The position is fully remote, supports proposal development and pursuit efforts across the organization, and works in the West Coast time zone. It suits an experienced AEC proposal professional who manages multiple pursuits and collaborates across teams and time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development of proposals, SOQs, RFQs, RFP responses and interview presentations for Land Development and Public Works opportunities
• Partner with technical and business leaders on pursuit strategies, win themes, messaging and differentiators
• Facilitate proposal kickoffs, strategy discussions, reviews and final production
• Write, edit and refine proposal content that turns technical information into clear client-facing messaging
• Support pursuits with municipalities, public agencies, developers and infrastructure clients
• Coordinate schedules, contributors, requirements and deliverables across multiple pursuits
• Create polished materials in Adobe InDesign using Atwell's brand standards
• Maintain proposal resources such as resumes, project descriptions and boilerplate content
• Support interview preparation and share best practices with the proposal marketing team

Required profile

• 5+ years of marketing or proposal experience in the AEC industry
• Experience developing and managing SOQs, RFQs and RFPs
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading and storytelling skills
• Ability to manage multiple proposals, deadlines and contributors independently
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, Business or a related field, or comparable experience
• Experience with Land Development, Public Works, municipal infrastructure, civil engineering or public-sector pursuits is especially valuable
