Project Manager

About the role

F.H. Paschen, a construction company with over 115 years of experience, is hiring a Project Manager in McLean. This is a managerial position covering contracts and/or work orders, reporting to the Senior Project Manager or the Division Vice President, with supervisory responsibility for Project Engineers, Superintendents, the Administrative Assistant and field personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate financial disputes and change orders with owners
• Produce project schedules and coordinate subcontractors and field labor
• Coordinate material procurement and delivery, and act as administrative point of contact for the owner
• Create and maintain project cost reports, and document and negotiate changes affecting project completion or contract costs with subcontractors and owners
• Develop the field quality assurance and quality control plan with the Superintendent and collaborate on the project safety plan
• Manage MBE/WBE subcontracting requirements and EEO/Affirmative Action contract requirements
• Other duties as assigned

Required profile

• B.S. in Construction Management or Engineering and 5 years of construction experience
• Ability to manage one large project (over $20 million) or several smaller projects and personnel at once
• Knowledge of construction, design, cost reporting and cash flow management
