Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the development of capital projects for a global manufacturer of critical materials. The role involves overseeing projects from feasibility through close‑out, ensuring they meet schedule, budget, and quality targets while supporting operational readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project development from feasibility to close‑out in line with capital development standards.
• Engage site stakeholders to guarantee operational readiness and maintainability.
• Establish and maintain a project risk register and oversee required HAZOP studies.
• Maintain an active project schedule, monitor status, and adjust scope, schedule, or budget as needed.
• Build and motivate the project team, providing clear purpose and direction.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to keep projects on scope, schedule, and budget.
• Conduct project review meetings with site teams and steering committees.
• Support project deployment, startup, and continuous financial tracking.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience managing large‑scale projects in heavy industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, and Lean/Continuous Improvement background.
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask across multiple projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (spreadsheets, project planners, charting).
• Experience using SAP.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
