Project Manager – Industrial Manufacturing & EPC Projects

About the role

Matrix Technologies is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex industrial engineering, automation and EPC projects from planning through completion. This hybrid position is based in Westminster, CO, and offers a salaried package with overtime eligibility.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risk, and client communications while leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop and execute project plans, change control, risk mitigation, and performance metrics.
• Coordinate engineering, design, procurement, construction, and accounting functions to deliver successful outcomes.
• Maintain contractual compliance, oversee subcontracts, and manage construction oversight for EPC projects.
• Identify repeat‑business opportunities and strengthen client relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or architecture.
• 4+ years of project management experience and 7+ years of engineering experience.
• Ability to travel 25‑50% locally and 10‑20% overnight.
• Strong communication, leadership and client‑relationship skills.

Required skills

• Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred).
• Experience with multidisciplinary engineering and EPC project delivery.
• Knowledge of project controls, procurement, subcontract administration and construction execution.
